The End of the Road

In the middle of nowhere, far beyond the last village, stands the gate every traveller must pass.
Merchants, wanderers and dreamers walk this road from every corner of the land, and all of them stop here.
What waits behind it, nobody knows. But every night, the crowd at the gate grows bigger.
The lanterns are lit. The first travellers through the gate will be remembered.
